News: Man charged with impaired driving following injury crash in Vaughan

VAUGHAN, ON – Authorities responded to a multi-vehicle accident late Sunday night in Vaughan that left three people injured, according to CTV News.

The accident happened on a stretch of Highway 400 at Teston Road, prompting a response from Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) at 11:30 p.m.

While the events leading up to the wreck have not been specified, three vehicles were impacted, and three people were taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

A 35-year-old man from Toronto was arrested after the scene for an investigation into impaired driving, “dangerous operation of a motor vehicle,” and for having a blood alcohol level above 80 milligrams. Officials said the causing vehicle was also impounded for seven days, and that the driver’s licence is expected to be suspended for 90 days.
