News: Authorities called to collision on eastbound Hwy 401 in Etobicoke

TORONTO, ON — Motorists were warned of delays impacting eastbound Highway 401 in the Etobicoke district of Toronto due to a collision Thursday afternoon, according to Trafficnet.ca.

The accident happened east of Martin Grove Road and Dixon Road, in the Martin Grove Gardens area. Footage captured at the scene shows at least three vehicles blocking the right lane by 12:47 p.m., but it’s unclear at this time whether they were all involved in the crash.

Delays impacted traffic back to Dixie Road.

Following the incident, officials have not released a sequence of events or any information about the parties and vehicles involved.
