News: 2 sent to hospital after motorcycles collide on Hwy 403 in Hamilton

HAMILTON, ON – Two people were injured Saturday evening when their motorcycles collided on Highway 403 in Hamilton, accorded to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Safety Division.

The accident happened on the westbound lanes at Exit 69A to Aberdeen Avenue and was first reported at around 6:45 p.m.

Officials did not immediately say how the motorcycles came to hit each other, but both operators were taken to an area hospital for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.

At the time of the OPP report, only two westbound lanes were open to traffic but a full highway opening was projected at about 8:00 p.m., over an hour later.


An investigation by the Burlington OPP was underway. No charges have been reported following the incident.
